Let Make Money with Ebay

Ebay is biggest online auction in the internet..let make money with it..

Search Ebay Coin Auctions

Saturday, July 21, 2007

If you are a coin collector, you should be happy to know that coin collecting is easier today than ever. Before the advent of the internet, for example, coin collectors had to travel far and wide to meet with other collectors. They had to go to coin collecting shows and, depending on how serious of a collector you were, coin collecting was a member's exclusive club. Today, coin collecting has become much easier and more widespread thanks to internet auction sites such as Ebay. All you have to do is search Ebay coin auctions to obtain those hard to get coins, rare coins, foreign coins, or whatever else you collect. You can browse coins in the comfort of home and you can have the coins delivered right to you.

What You Need

In order to search Ebay coin auctions, all you need is a computer and an internet connection. There are many coin collectors out there who love to show their collections off on the internet and you can even bid on these rare coins, just as you would at a real coin auction. The only difference is that you never have to leave your house.

In order to show off your own collection, and to offer your rare coins to other collectors, you will need to set up an Ebay account. You don't need an account to search Ebay coin auctions, but you will need an account if you hope to auction off your own coins. To create an account, simply follow the directions given to you by the Ebay website. Your payments will go through a website called Paypal, or you can set it up using a credit card. Ebay will take a small percentage of whatever you get for you coins, but it's a small price to pay for the exposure. Think of all the people who will search Ebay coin auctions and think of all the people that will see the coins you're offering.

To set up your own coin auction, simply take a picture of whatever coin you are looking to auction off. Then, write a short description of the coin. This is what others will see when they search Ebay coin auctions. You can set a starting bid price and then see where it goes. You also have the option of setting up a time limit on your bid. Just make sure that you are happy with the limits you set because once the bid is over, that's the price you're going to get.

If you are a collector and you're not too keen on leaving your house to do your collecting, just search Ebay coin auctions to find those rare and unique coins, or post your own to help someone build their collection. Thanks to Ebay, coin collecting has never been easier.

Great Tips To Help You Find Products To Sell

Monday, May 28, 2007

Finding products to sell is fundamental to those who have Internet stores, auction sites, or sell through stores such as Amazon or Ebay. However, it may be difficult to determine where you will find those products to sell.

There are a number of different ways to find products to sell as well as many scam artists who like nothing more than to prey upon unsuspecting but well-meaning storeowners. Whether selling online or in your hometown, you need to check out every wholesale company or drop shipper with the Better Business Bureau and Rip Off Report to make sure you are only dealing with reputable companies.

Drop shippers are invaluable to those who sell products over the Internet. Drop shippers are companies that store product inventory and then mail them to your customers, without you needing to first purchase and store the products. To make sure that the drop shipping company you are dealing with is legitimate, sends products on time, and hasn't been accused of unscrupulous tactics, double check their record with the BBB. Many times, dropshipping companies will charge a yearly fee before allowing you access to their products. You can find dropshipping companies that won't charge you this fee, but you must be diligent in your search. Also, you should never have to pay for a list of drop shipping or wholesale companies. You can find them on your own and not pay anyone a dime.

One way to find dropshipping and wholesale companies is to check in your local area. Having contact with a company that you can talk to in person can bring great peace to your online business. Look in your local yellow pages for various wholesale companies and contact them about their dropshipping practices. You can also purchase items from them at wholesale costs and ship them yourself, bypassing the need for a dropshipper completely. However, if you feel that your company is best served by a dropshipper, then you should find a reputable company that distributes the products you are interested in selling and then inquire about a dropshipping program.

To make money on eBay requires a great deal of upfront investigation and research. It requires that a seller know the marketplace well. There needs to be a solid market niche with ready, willing and able buyers. But that is only half of the story. Success also requires that sellers know about their target buyers.

To make money on eBay requires that success sellers know their target buyers. What items do they want and need? When do they prefer to shop? What information are they seeking about items before they will buy? Are there any special requirements such as special features that they expect to be included with the items they purchase?

Tips for Dealing with an Angry Customer

Tuesday, February 27, 2007

Don't you just hate it when things don't go as you had expected? This is especially true when you are making a purchase at a store. Your eBay buyers feel the same way when things don't go the way they thought with a purchase. They had their heart set on a specific product that had specific features, and then the product that you shipped arrives. Out of no-where you get a message that there is a horrible flaw in the item, or possibly the features weren't exactly as the customer had expected.

If your goal is to make money on eBay, then you will instantly share the customer's concerns. But then you examine the listing and see that the flaw or defect was clearly stated in the item description. In fact, you also had a picture that clearly showed the flaw or defect. The features that the angry buyer is upset about are also not your fault. In fact, you highlighted the item features to be sure that prospective buyers would know exactly what they were getting.

It isn't your fault! Why do you need to deal with an angry person over a mistake that the person made? Why should you even care is that person can't read or look at pictures? It's their problem not yours, right? WRONG!

Having an angry and upset customer is a risk anytime you deal with people. Communication, whether in either writing, or verbally, can lead to misunderstandings. The challenge is to do everything possible to eliminate the possibility of such miscommunications. When they do occur the challenge is to minimize the potential damage (Lost customer. Negative feedback.) and to quickly resolve the issue.

Let's examine ways to handle these examples.

In the case of the flaw or defect, what would you do? Remember, it was described in your description. What would you do? Here is what I would do: * Start by apologizing for the communication disconnect. * Send a copy of the listing to the buyer to show that the information was in fact there. * Ask the customer what they feel would be a fair resolution. * When the buyer emails you back, determine if you feel their request is fair. * React appropriately. * Note: Offering a partial refund might be an appropriate way to resolve this with the buyer. Thought you don't owe them anything, your goal has become to eliminate the possibility of any negative feedback and the damage to future sales that will follow.

So what about the case where the features did not match up with the buyer's expectations? Remember, all of the features were accurately described in your description.

To make money on eBay requires that you develop skills to handle every upset customer irregardless of whether you, they, or anyone for that matter is at fault. Your goal should be to calm down the customer. It is to find a middle ground where both the customer and you feel that the issue has been resolved fairly.

Know the Real Cost of Items That You Sell

Saturday, February 24, 2007

One of the challenges that constantly face those who make money on eBay is the desire of most buyers to get a bargain. That bargain for the buyer equates to a lower price being received by the seller. For the person who is selling more as a hobby, or to clear out excess items from their house, attic or garage, getting any amount of money from items is better than just tossing them away. However once you begin running an eBay business that is targeted to make a profit, everything changes. Items are purchased for resale with the goal of making a profit on every sale, every time.

Sellers who make money on eBay know that not all items will sell on eBay. They know that market research is required before items are even purchased for resale. They know that there are costs far in excess of the price paid for the items that they sell. For example, they factor in costs such as: * freight * e-Bay selling fees o Listing fees o Final value fees * PayPal fees * Costs associated with their time

These are seen as costs associated with conducting their eBay business. All of these costs are included together with the actual purchase price of the item to determine the real cost of each item.

While there will be cases where a seller has made a mistake, or where the market has changed, the goal is to never lose money. To make money on eBay, the very minimum that you can accept is to periodically break even when mistakes are made. However, even breaking even is something that cannot happen often. There is still an investment of time, and that time could have been spent on items that will produce a profit.

Your goal is to buy 'low' and to sell 'high'. In other words, you need to pay the lowest possible price while minimizing associated sales cost. Then you must sell for as much as possible.

On the buy low side of the formula, there are many theories: * Sell Name Brands only * Pick only the most popular items to sell * Sell Information Products only * Sell 'Hot' items as their popularity is rising

Each of these strategies has its strengths. Each could work for you. However in every case, the only way to be aware of exactly which items are most likely to sell is to conduct research. That research must occur before the item is purchased for resale.

If you want to know how to make money on eBay, then never lose sight of profit. Your goal is to maximize sales prices while minimizing all costs associated with making those sales.

Ecommerce and the new world currency

Wednesday, February 21, 2007

There something that you need to consider before selling at ebay.It was currency.Check this out..

Today the world has indeed caught up with the Internet commerce. In order to cope up with the expanding global business, the Internet had to create a common currency that will cross country boundaries and currency specifications. ( A typical e-commerce site can be viewed at www.rebelnetworks.com )Without a facility like this buying and selling across the world markets would be virtually impossible. The virtual world hence has created its own currency and mode of payment. Let us look the options that we have:

1. Credit cards - this is one of the easiest was of payment over the Internet and maybe one of the most common. The reason for this is that everyone is comfortable with a credit card and for buying anything over the internet; all you have to do is write your name and credit card number. There is a transaction cost that is charged from you by the credit cards(2-3%) and you will need to have a merchant account to receive this type of payment.

2. Paypal - this is Ebays mode of payment, and a very popular online service that facilitates the transfer of money from anywhere to anywhere across the Internet. Paypal also charge a tiny fee, but it is very low and hence a comfortable way to use. You can charge your paypal account with credit card as well as bank transfer. This method is usually added to credit card facility, though sometimes it is also used alone.

3. E-check - this is another convenient way to pay your bills over the net. However, some people shy away from it because of the amount of details one has to give the site in order to process payment.

4. E-currency - there are many types of e-currencies floating around, the most popular being e-gold. This type of currency is backed by gold, and it is used to back up payment over the globe based on the value of gold rather than any particular currency. It is easy and simple and accepted in almost every country.

5. Wire-transfer - this is very expensive way to pay, but it is also fast and very safe. Hence, this is used when large amounts of money are involved. There is most of the time confirmation over the phone when such transactions take place, hence it is indeed safe. It is also very advisable when large amount of money are involved as opposed to cheques or even a credit card, because these have a chance of bouncing but the wire transfer is not.

6. COD - this way to pay is in a way safe and in another risky. Safe because you will not give away the item unless you get the money owed to you, and risky because if your customer refuses to pick it up you end up with the shipping cost tab and also the possible damage to your item while it is shipped to and fro.

The above list is by no means exhaustive. There are many ways more to make payment and cross borders and currency denominations when doing business over the Net. However, it remains to be seen which is the safest first and then the fastest way to get money sent and received across the globe.
